2. Hosting & server logs
Our hoster processes technical log data (IP, browser, time, referrer, URL) to deliver the website. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.
3. Cookies and Consent
We use strictly necessary cookies (session, CSRF, language preference) on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR / § 25 (2) no. 2 TTDSG.
For analytics and tracking cookies (sections 4 and 5) we ask for your consent via a cookie banner before setting them. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, § 25 (1) TTDSG. You can withdraw consent any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Consent retention: 365 days (LocalStorage key athletik_consent_v1).
4. Reach measurement (own, privacy-friendly)
We measure page views with our own tool. Stored per view: URL, timestamp, HTTP status, referrer, user-agent and a SHA-256 hash of your IP (the IP itself is not stored). Retention: 365 days. Runs without consent (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).
4a. Google Analytics 4 (consent required)
After your consent via the cookie banner we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Processed: anonymized IP (anonymize_ip: true), device and browser data, pages, duration. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with all defaults set to denied; no data is transmitted to Google until you actively consent. Measurement-ID: G-Q58TRSJ5JR. Data may be transferred to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Google privacy: policies.google.com/privacy.
4b. Portal tracking (consent required)
After your consent we load the portal tracking from reisener.de (Reisener UG, see section 1). Processed: anonymized usage data (page views, clicks, duration) for cross-portal reach analysis. Servers: Germany (Strato AG). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Portal-ID: PT-JMPLZHWY.
5. Newsletter
If you subscribe, we store email, name, subscription timestamp, IP and user-agent as DOI proof. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Unsubscribe any time.
6. Affiliate programmes
athletik.net participates in the programmes of Amazon EU S.à.r.l., AWIN, Webgains. When you click an affiliate link, you first pass through our internal counter (/go/…) where we store shop, timestamp and a SHA-256 IP hash. Then you land on the shop under its own privacy policy.
7. Your rights
